WHAT IS startPLUS ™?

startPLUS™ provides an in depth forum for superintendents with a minimum of two years experience. It is designed to provide an opportunity to dialogue confidentially in a small group setting, on issues that each face in his/her job. startPLUS™ was developed because of the collegial relationships that were formed during start™; however, previous participation in start™ is not required. By expanding the forum and adding additional superintendents with limited experience, we feel this seminar will continue to meet your needs to network, share ideas and maximize your performance.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each startPLUS™ small group will provide time for approximately 15 superintendents to establish strong professional relationships, allowing all to comfortably discuss topics, explore new ideas, present individual issues, and provide meaningful input. Timely issues that impact your district, your leadership and your personal growth will be discussed. Practical ideas, sharing by other colleagues, and bringing in experienced superintendents who have “survived” similar challenges will be our focus.

IS THERE A FEE TO PARTICIPATE?

There is a $25.00 registration fee. Otherwise, the program is underwritten by Granger Construction. We plan on having a drawing in January to present a scholarship to one of the schools represented in the startPLUS™ seminar. This scholarship will be funded by the registration fees.
